How To Improve Site Rank
Site rank is important for your website because in order to get an audience, you want your page or post to be in the first page of the search engine. Anything after the first page is not likely going to get your audience’s attention. Honestly, when I search the internet, the first page is usually where I will read my search results. It is VERY rare I click to page 2, as I find what I am searching for is less relevant. So how do you improve site rank?
First, you must have your own website. If you don’t have your own website, what are you trying to get ranked? Thus, the title of this post is “How to Improve SITE Rank.” You can build a website in less than 30 seconds easily for free if you need one.
Second, you must have SEO plug in set up on your website so that your website can be indexed into search engines quickly. Don’t worry, Wealthy Affiliate has a starter membership that can train you to customize you website for free.
Third, you must place quality, valuable content your audience is searching for in your website. Wealthy Affiliate trains you on this area, too.
Once you have built your website and posted a good amount of content into your website, you must keep your website active. How?
Forth, you must keep your website active by updating your website with new pages, posts, social network sharing and comments. How do you get comments? Read my post on how to get comments to your blog.
If you are like me and you splitting your time with pursuing an online business while physically working at a 8-5 job, your time is stretched pretty thin. I get it. I am in the same boat as you. We have to do what we have to do to do what we want to do.
Unless I am making a good income where I can quit my 8-5 job, I won’t pay to get ranked at the very top. This would show up as a paid ad, which I won’t do just yet. I believe that I shouldn’t spend more money on something if you haven’t earned enough to spend it.
Getting back to the point. Some weeks, it may be more difficult than others to work on my goal. I have to keep telling myself keep working at it and it will be worth it later on. So, I wanted to show you what comments can do for your site rank. A week ago, I checked my site rank on Jaaxy and then I posted and earned comments on Wealthy Affiliate. This week, my site rank has went up from the second page to the first page.
This is real proof of my website.
If you are doing affiliate marketing as part of making an income online, you want to be on the first page of the search engine. When I put myself in my audience’s shoes, I don’t want to read anything more than the first page. When your post is on the first page, your audience is more likely to buy from you than any page after the first page. If you would like to learn more about the program that made it possible for me to have an online business, read my review of Wealthy Affiliate.
